The second annual "Best of Direct" award ceremony
spotlighting achievement in direct marketing was held at
National Geographic during their Terra Cotta Warriors
exhibit, on December 2, 2009.
The event was a joint effort of the Direct Marketing
Association of Washington and the DMAW Education
Foundation. These two organizations are united by their
commitment to provide education and networking
opportunities to a multi-faceted community. For the DMAW
the community is comprised of industry newcomers, as well
as professionals interested in both continuing education
and networking opportunities. The EF is dedicated to
educating young people about the possibilities of direct
marketing as a career in addition to developing faculty
understanding of the industry.
The direct response community of the Washington, DC area is
a vibrant one. The ceremony honored many of those
organizations and individuals who have contributed to this
strength.
